Fear of Clutter: Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love to get dressed up for an all-out costume party. My best costume of all time was Ms. Bald America. I wore my Senior Prom gown, elbow length blue suede gloves, a tiara and of course a bald wig and Ms. Bald America sash. I blacked out a couple of teeth for an even more glamorous effect. My escort for the evening was The Grim Reaper. We were a stunning couple. My other favorite part of Halloween is going to a truly scary haunted house. If you want to be truly scared, you have got to go to Terror Behind the Walls at the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia. Part of the fun of Halloween is being scared by the sights and sounds of haunted houses and hayrides but clutter doesn’t need to be a scary part of your everyday life. If you feel like you will never climb out from under your mountain of clutter, call me. Ain’t no mountain high enough I can’t declutter. (Sounds like a song!) Before AfterBefore AfterHow I Helped Ray and His Family Problem: Ray LOVES to read. Since grade school the floor of his bedroom has been covered with stacks of books. The stacks grew higher and higher until you had to slalom through the room.
Solution: We donated over 300 books and categorized the books. After four 4-hour sessions we had all the books off the floor and onto the ten bookshelves in the room. Outcome: It was a whole lot easier to vacuum! Ray is preparing to move in the near future and it will be much easier to pack and to set up his new apartment. Testimonial: “Bobbie’s work with my brother, Ray, has been life changing. She has brought order and structure into his space and his daily life. As long as I can remember my book worm brother has always had stacks of books in his bedroom. Bobbie’s work is remarkable. “
